Fish at an abundant spot to keep the time to catch as low as possible
The choice of your fishbot settings should be considered with two main factors in mind, those are:
Effort (active playtime) and inventory slots:
How much time do you want to spend to sell your fished items?
If you have a lot of time on your hands, you can connect the node where you have caught the fish to the furthest trade manager - this will generate the most silver per fish but you can even raise the potential further by pairing it with the Artisan 2 trading buff. Either choose to keep blue and yellow fish for this method, or yellow fish only. Obviously, more inventory slots equal better efficiency since it cuts the amount of times you’re going to travel.
Of course, you always have the choice to connect your fishspot to a closer trader, cutting some travel time, but therefore lowering your profits.
You can even sell the fish almost directly at the spot you’ve caught them at, only connecting to the city where you are going to sell your relics.
The most likely lowest effort level is to catch relics only, since those don’t require any node setup, and won’t fill up your inventory too quickly. Even with max inventory slots, it can be worth choosing this option, depending on how high you value your active play time (or rather, the time you don’t actively play).
Now that I’ve given you some methods to play with, make your choice or come up with your own way of utilizing the fishbot. Whatever you choose, it is recommended to pick up event items, since those usually generate solid income at the side.
The Deep Sea has some good spots (If you want to connect Deep Sea nodes, start connecting from Lema Island - however the part of the map needs to be discovered, don’t worry it’s normal that you can’t see yourself on the map)
Aswell as Kamasylvia (Red and Orange are the best spots)
